Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was a finalist on the NBC competition Last Comic Standing 2008 and is now the host of the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. In 2022, she's published six comedy specials for Netflix. Netflix began her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into a Jewish family in New York City. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved when she was a baby. She went to Addison's exclusive Greenhill School, Texas where she was a student of Spanish and participated in the school's improvisation club.
Shlesinger was a performer with ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She took part in Semester at Sea. She enrolled at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in which she pursued a major in film and honed her writing and editing skills, and joined one of the campus' comedy sketch groups Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Shlesinger She graduated from college, moved to Los Angeles in order to explore stand-up comedy. She was among the most famous members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
