Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her first appearance, she has shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was for her character Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the notice of the general public. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for the third season. In the last few days, Hind completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in mid-2019. The father Krishnaraj is an Army scientist, who died on March 18 2017 and his mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. She returned to Bollywood to star in the success Dhoom: 2 (2006) before releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star and the child of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of the most powerful Indian people.
