Amy Carlson

 

Amy Lynn Carlson was born on July 7th in 1968. She is an American actress best known for her performances in Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor and Josie Watts on the NBC soap opera Another World.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois"DuPage County" Illinois near Chicago. She was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers at school. Carlson is of Swedish descent , and has roots in Smaland.



 



 Career



 1986-1992: college and early careers



 She first made it to Hollywood as a background actor for the movie Lucas starring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She followed in the footsteps of her older sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
